The six-week course

One evening gives you the basics. A six-week course would turn them into a steady habit: one hour a week, one new skill each week, practiced together. We're gauging interest now. Join the list and we'll tell you if a course is scheduled. No commitment.

How it would work

A small group of no more than 10 men would meet once a week for six weeks. Each evening is one hour.

  1. 1

    A short idea

Ten minutes on one practical topic, in plain words.

  2. 2

    Body relaxation

A guided release of the tension the body holds.

  3. 3

    Practice

The week's skill, practiced together and at your own pace.

  4. 4

    Questions

Time to ask, and one easy exercise for the week.

The planned six weeks

  1. How stress works and how the body calms down
  2. Letting go of tension held in the body
  3. The breath as a steady anchor
  4. Focusing the mind with a calm word
  5. Working with worry without fighting it
  6. Taking it into daily life with a 3-minute reset

Is this a sign-up?

No. The interest list only tells us whether to schedule a course. Nothing is booked and there is no commitment.

Do I need to take a first evening before the course?

Yes. The course builds on Meditation 101 (for beginners) or Clear Practice (for experienced meditators). Both are free.

What will it cost?

The planned fee is $18 per session. The first evening, Meditation 101 or Clear Practice, is free.

What if I miss a week?

Come back the next week. You'll get that week's handout so you can catch up.

Is this therapy?

No. These are relaxation classes. If you're struggling with your mental health, please also speak with a doctor or therapist. In a crisis, call or text 988.
